We are storyboard artists in animation. During the course of production millions of sketches are produced. Some are used but most are not. These are the ones that "got away" and scribbly scribbles deemed not worthy for prime time.

sketches from the weekend
some sketches from the weekend. done in ballpoint pen and scanned. added color on the computer.
Thanks walleye! Hubs and I like to go sketching every now and again. We went out to Olvera street and had lunch, sketched a little, then headed to Union station. At the end of the session, we swap sketchbooks and check out what the other had drawn. We are trying to do this more regularly. It's fun! Right now, I am working on a design for a squid necklace. Don't ask me why I am making a squid, it just popped in my head as something cool, and these days, I just let my mind do whatever......I like surprises :-) well, sometimes.....
??? do not apologize Skrib--no offense taken! we would marry you too and sell our story to Fox Reality network.....but then the show would get cancelled 'cause it's not fun watching us draw for hours, so, oh well....nice thought though :-)thanks!
