We are storyboard artists in animation. During the course of production millions of sketches are produced. Some are used but most are not. These are the ones that "got away" and scribbly scribbles deemed not worthy for prime time.
Driving to work this morning I was startled by the "bling" of non other than The Bishop Don Magic Juan. Momentarily blinded by the bling I some how managed to reach for my camera and snap a pic...yes today I win.
Our cousins to the north have started their own storyboard artist blog! It was newly birthed so it's a little light on content but they're awesome so I'm expecting to see some rad things in the near future (no pressure). Pay them a visit and show them some love.
So right before a story/vis dev meeting we were talking to Jessica the vis dev APM and she told us stories about her adventures in an all-girl Catholic High School. I'm going to e-mail this to the Pope right now.
Yes, I watch the Bathelor. I think greedy girls who cry are funny. This latest Batchelor is funny himself. He's a doctor, a naval officer and an iron man triathelete, and yet he still looks like a giant 8 year old. That's why I am compelled to draw him. This other stuff is for a comic strip I'm developing that will eventually run on the old "Phloo!" blog, when it's ready. It has cavemen in it, and also a dinosaur. It'll pop up one of these days. -John
