We are storyboard artists in animation. During the course of production millions of sketches are produced. Some are used but most are not. These are the ones that "got away" and scribbly scribbles deemed not worthy for prime time.

Nerdiest Post Ever!
I have been away from this blog forever, and now I'm back to bore you with geek shit. Or am I? I just think this is cool. Could it be that Apple is finally starting to think about a touch sensitive laptop? The reason I'm posting about this is I'm wondering if anyone else is interested in this. I would love a laptop with Photoshop that I could use like a Cintiq. Anyone else?
READ ABOUT IT HERE.

They'll probably use this to improve the iphone.
Those crazy kids.
You're probably right, but the linked article does mention how it could be used for a touch sensitive laptop. I can dream anyway...sigh...
I think Apple will create their own version of a Real Doll that will be embedded with this technology. Then you can have long distance USB relationships.
What about these?
tablet pc
I know its not a mac book, but they're still pretty sweet.
I'm looking for a tablet to use with Toon Boom Storyboard Pro and the Modbook (tablet/pimped Powerbook) looks like it would be the answer (the program runs really well on a 17" iMac) but it looks like they might never be available. Plus, I've looked at some tradeshow demos on YouTube and they seem to be a cursor lag that I think might drive me nuts. If anyone has tried this software on a tabletpc I'd love to hear about it.
I'd like to get a cintiq but I hate getting down to the wire on a deadline and having the power go out or having to work on the computer while there's a thunderstorm outside...(draw/save/draw/save/draw/save).
