We are storyboard artists in animation. During the course of production millions of sketches are produced. Some are used but most are not. These are the ones that "got away" and scribbly scribbles deemed not worthy for prime time.

Christmas Story
Every Christmas, I do a little drawing for my wife that is inked, watercolered, and well, as finished as I can possibley make it. The problem is that I never like these as much as the quick, spontaneous drawings I do at work.
So this year, I did something different. I wrote a story and did little story sketches to illustrate it.
This was more work than you can imagine. I will never do this again.
These are just a couple of them.
I did these with a Pitt brush pen. I'll color them later, if I have time. I still have to wrap her presents. Crap.
Chrismas is hard.
Merry Christmas!!

Thanks! She really liked it. I think that I have inadvertantly created a tradition. Anyway, i am currently scanning the images into the computer so that I can create a little book for her. I was goofing around with a little imovie storyreel as well.
I have created a monster.
This is so rad. I like this better than your stuff for work! (Oops!) But true! I have done artwork for my gal in the past, but now I am lazy. This is really great.
Thanks!
I drew them the same way that I do at work, the only difference is that the story is mine and was done for an audience of one, maybe two.
Perhaps that is enough of a difference.
