ComicConFan: Optimus Prime-Cardboard Edition

The formula for success: red sweatshirt, white sweat pants, cardboard, duct tape, paper towel rolls, and yellow briefs. Optimus Prime rules all costumed characters. He is the embodiment of love for the Comic Con. Come back Optimus! Come back!

This guy is my first and most fond Comic Con memory. To walk around like that be completely comfortable and not self-conscious is amazing. Sadly, the costume got a little more worn and torn every year.

I loved this guy! The con wasn't complete until I spotted him. I always saw him later in the day, drenched with sweat carrying a bunch of shopping bags, wearing only the legs and the arms of his costume.

I seen pictures of him!! My friend refers to him as "Optimus Prime Rib".

Swear to God, if these were made into cards, it'd be enough to drive me into collecting Magic: The Gathering again...

Seriously, these have been wonderful. I have linked people from my site (loosepgs.blogspot.com) to come check them out. Busted a gut laughing (because they're so true).

You are the master, Lord Jeff. Great stuff.

Glad I happen to run into you at Ralphs Market in San Diego. Actually, the Ralphs was sort of a mini-con in itself.

"This is the Ultimate Showdown
Of Ultimate Destiny..."

You didn't mention the "Sailor Bubbas" -- or do those only infest anime cons?

Jeff. You've been given the big idea. Cards! For the next con! How many have you done already? Go for 50. And just put regular card suits on them so people can play blackjack with them. I loved all of them.

Scratch the card playing idea. Just Garbage Pail kid types of cards with the back story on one side, the beauty shot on the other.

These are fantastic Skribbl. I think the whole card idea is bang on aswell...something to aim for next year! That, my friend, is a liscense to print money.
Cheers.
